Allen Orwick purchased our firm in 1984 after working for Lakota Farm Service Tax Department since 1981. During his time as President, our company has grown to the largest tax preparation, property management, insurance agency in the region. In addition to his duties as CEO, he is our firm's Senior Tax Specialist, Property Manager and a licensed insurance agent.
Allen grew up on his family's farm in the Michigan, ND area which was homesteaded by his family in 1893. This farm background is very valuable as he assists our client's with their tax preparation and business decisions.
Allen and his wife Dolores (Dee) have four grown children all whom have either graduated from or are currently attending the University of North Dakota.
The Orwicks live in Michigan, ND enjoy spending time with their family, traveling, golfing and are well known for being fans of the UND Fighting Sioux hockey team. They have traveled to several away venues and regularly attend home games at the Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, ND.

Lisa Miller has been with LFS Professional Services, Inc. since 1998. Lisa was recently promoted to Tax Specialist/Bookkeeper from her previous position of Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper. Lisa enjoyed working the front desk assisting clients and is now very excited to be in her new position and looks forward to helping our clients with the preparation of their income tax returns.
Lisa's husband, Randy, farms and also works at the Farm Service Agency in Lakota, ND. They have two wonderful boys, Chris and Matt. Most of their leisure time is spent attending their boys' sports and academic events. As a family, they enjoy boating, fishing and attending baseball games.
Lisa is looking forward to the 2011 Tax Season and assisting our clients with all their questions! |

JoAnn F Hjelseth - Assistant Property Manager

JoAnn Hjelseth began working for LFS Professional Services, Inc. in 2000 as Assistant Property Manager and working in our tax department, preparing W-2 and 1099 Forms for our tax clients. As our property management department has grown, she now devotes all her time to her Assistant Property Manager duties.
Her days are filled interviewing prospective tenants, record keeping and bookkeeping for the various entities we contract with, supervising maintenance staff and working with our tenants daily needs. JoAnn works hard everyday to fulfill our goal of one-hundred percent occupancy in the fifty apartments we manage.
JoAnn's hobbies include spending time with her four grandchildren and garage sale shopping with friends. Since JoAnn lives on a farm in the Michigan, ND area she also raises a big garden and enjoys just relaxing on the deck watching the deer run through her yard. |

Robbyn Maresh joined LFS Professional Services, Inc. in September of 2010 as Administrative Assistant. Her past employment includes office and clerical, bookkeeping, and most recently Executive Director of Nelson County Health Services Foundation. As a native of Nelson County she looks forward to seeing many familiar faces and meeting new people as she assists our clients and tenants.
She and her husband Gordon live in Michigan, ND and have two grown children. Gordie has worked for the ND Department of Transportation in Michigan for over twenty-five years and also has some farming interests. They enjoy traveling, especially to warm climates and summers at the Lake with family, including three young Grandsons, and many friends. Robbyn enjoys cooking, especially trying new recipes, watching the Food Channel and reading.
Robbyn looks forward to her first Tax Season with our company and is excited to assist our clients to the best of her ability. |
